VITA: My Biography

PERSONAL MISSION STATMENT

All to the Glory of God! (It's short, but that sums it up.)

EDUCATION (Ok, I admit it--I'm a school junkie)

Highschool: Santa Clarita Christian School, Canyon Country, CA Go Cardinals! www.sccs.cc

College: The Master's College, Newhall, CA Go Mustangs! www.masters.edu

Graduate Studies: Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, IL Go God!Laughing www.tiu.edu

I will be teaching two online sections of Survey of the New Testament REL390 for the University of Southern Alabama for both Summer Session 09 and Fall 09. I love teaching this course! Yeah, I couldn't keep away for very long . . . Laughing

LIFE EXPERIENCE (Still haven't grown up!)

Born in the middle of the country but raised mainly in Southern California and the Philippines--I consider myself an "repatriot Filipino American" (huh?). Well, since I spent most of my youth in the Philippines and grew up in Filipino circles, doesn't it make sense? Dad was an Air Force man (love him!) and we are all mestizos.

I've traveled to a lot of places (some places again and again though I really didn't intend it. Europe, Israel, Turkey, Greece, Bonaire, Carib., Philippines . . . I enjoy travelling, but I have to admit I am really a homebody. Comfort zone is the good life.Wink

Okey, little known fact about me--I was a homecoming queen. But understand, it was a very small pool in our little christian school at the time. I was also the graduating class salutorian, so that really tells you how small it was!

Ted and I will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary at the end of this year. Neither of us can believe how fast time flies! We got married in the Chicagoland area back in 1998 and the love is still going strong!

Our "Chunky" Isaiah was born in 2005 and we've been sleepless ever since. Just kidding, although gone are those days of uninterupted slumber and long mid-day naps. Ah . . . (sigh). But what a little ball of fun and laughter he is! I think the best thing about being a mom is one that God lets you be one, and two you get to see this little person grow into his own unique character that God made him to be.

INTERESTS (Uh, TOO many to mention!)

I've always joked that "My Ultimate Hobby" is Isaiah. He is a toy!
